Congratulations to Carrington Newell on being named this year’s Most Valuable Choctaw!

Carrington is the president of his senior class. He was in the top 10% of his class his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Service club, Leo club, DCHS golf team, Student Council (all four years), Science club, and HOSA. Carrington has maintained a 4.0 all four years; he's in the ACT plus 3 club, ACT plus 5 club and also on the ACT wall of honor. He was voted Best All Around by his senior class. After graduation, Carrington plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Martin and study Civil Engineering.
