This morning, Dyer County High School honored one of its most prestigious traditions — the Most Valuable Choctaw Ceremony.
Each year, six outstanding seniors are nominated by their peers for exemplifying leadership, integrity, service, and true Choctaw spirit. From these nominees, one student is selected by the DCHS faculty to receive the Most Valuable Choctaw title and a scholarship generously sponsored by Burks Beverage.
This year’s nominees were Emma Ables, James Bailey, Ryan DeSpain, Lily Flagg, Seth LaRue, and Lily McCall.
