Dyer County High School students Seth LaRue and Lily Flagg were recently sponsored to attend the annual Youth Leadership Summit back in March, organized by the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association. Seth represented Gibson Electric Membership Corporation and Lily represented Forked Deer Electric Cooperative, joining 44 other students from across Tennessee in Nashville.
During the summit, they participated in leadership seminars, visited sponsor businesses, and met with state lawmakers — including Governor Bill Lee. Seth’s experience was even highlighted by the Tennessean and recognized by Gibson Electric on their website.
